CRV Fleckvieh
CRV’s Fleckvieh cows are popular among farmers because they are robust and long-lasting. Easy calving and a long productive life are, besides the high performance potential for milk and beef, the basis for efficient production. They produce a high amount of milk with a lot of fat and protein.
Fleckvieh cows are also known for their persistence and production increase. Furthermore they stand for a good fertility – both maternal and paternal. Due to their low Somatic Cell score they have a leading position in udder health and are also very suitable for robot milking.
Fleckvieh is an alone standing breed and also partner for crossbreeding. As a dual-purpose breed (milk and beef), the red-and-white colored cows have a high-performance potential not only for milk but also for beef.
CRV’s Fleckvieh breeding programme uses all the European Fleckvieh populations to ensure that it sources the best available bulls.
