Leg structure and claw health lay the foundation for top performances of CRV bulls

Every dairy farmer knows: good leg structure and healthy claws are fundamental for a herd that achieves high production and longevity without issues. It's no coincidence that CRV's top bulls score highly on these traits. This April proof frequently used bulls from recent years demonstrate this with their daughters, and young bulls set the bar even higher with their genomic breeding values.
Delta Perfect highlights popularity

From the also widely used Delta Fair Play P, the first 835 daughters started milking in recent months. This Woody son exceeded his genomic breeding values for production traits, achieving +1,422 kg milk with +0.03% fat and +0.01% protein, and €411 Inet. With these figures, this FeedExcel bull will be reintroduced to the lineup.

Warren sons boost production
Among young bulls with genomic breeding values, sons of Delta Warren P rf performed well this run. For instance, Delta Boyan's production breeding value increased by €30 to €620 Inet, thanks to a balanced profile with over 1,500 kg milk, +0.34% fat, and +0.14% protein. Available through the Create program, Boyan is also a standout in health traits, with breeding values of 110 for udder health and 111 for claw health.

The homozygous polled Warren son, Jeans Hummer PP, also improved his production breeding value by €28 Inet and transmits, among other traits, 108 total conformation with 107 for feet and legs.
