The duo of Jeans bulls is now reinforced by Delta Frontman. Through Delta Jantina, he traces back to Jeans Jantina 294, the highly productive full sister of the excellent dam of Jeans Rennes. Frontman is a very complete production sire, transmitting more than 1,000 kg of milk with +0.22% fat and +0.12% protein. In addition, this FeedExcel bull scores 108 for feed efficiency, meaning his daughters produce 4% more kilograms of fat and protein from the same amount of feed than the daughters of an average bull. Frontman’s daughters will handle high production with ease. They are very persistent (breeding value 113) and show low sensitivity to ketosis. At the foundation of Frontman’s performance are exceptionally strong legs and feet. He transmits a parallel set to both front and rear legs, powerful locomotion, and scores 110 for claw health.
Delta Frontman sets the standard for outstanding legs

The Jeans Jantina cow family owned by Jeroen and André Sturkenboom from the Netherlands is attracting a lot of attention, thanks in part to the bulls Jeans Rennes and Jeans Hummer PP. The influence of this family is also growing rapidly within the home herd in Schalkwijk in the Netherlands. “The Jantinas are highly productive, and their conformation is consistently good. In addition, somatic cell counts in the milk are structurally low and Mortellaro rarely occurs,” explains Jeroen Sturkenboom as the key to their success.
Persistent and efficient
Breeding values reflect the dam
With CRV’s purchase of Jeans Jantina 294, the family now proves its breeding strength across multiple farms. This daughter of Midwolder Martin is housed at CRV test farm Midwolder and is classified with 87 for udder and 86 for legs. In her third lactation, she is projected at a lactation value of 113, based on 14,827 kg of milk with 4.38% fat and 3.52% protein in 305 days.In the breeding values of Delta Frontman, Koen Nooijen clearly recognizes his dam Delta Jantina. In Coevorden (the Netherlands), the heifer classified with 86 points for legs and has already produced 12,000 kg of milk in 342 days, with 4.47% fat and 3.70% protein. She is in-calf yet still produces 38 kg of milk per day with 3.78% protein.“I’m very pleased with this heifer,” the dairy farmer says. “She handles production easily and has excellent legs and extremely healthy claws.”
